My Uncle gave this to me. I love it and need a second one. What is it and where can I get another one?

I have no idea what it is. Fireplace poker, Garden tool? A local blacksmith could make one, or you could make it too, although without a deep forge you could not harden the steel properly. You mike be able to harden the steel with a couple of torches as the diameter is pretty small.

Not for sure where to buy one but I have one I bought on a estate sale and when the wooden handle broke I welded a half inch four foot piece of black pipe to it. I use it to pull firewood off of stacks in a trailer.

We need to use AI to figure it out. It must be a farm tool of some sort.

The function you are describing would be known as a Hookaroon or Pickaroon. However, I've never seen one with two hooks.

I have a 30" LogRite Hookaroon. It certainly comes in handy when pulling rounds or split wood out of the back of a truck or trailer.

I wonder if it could be used to move big blocks of ice around. I was watching the movie East of Eden tonight and there is a scene in an ice house and they had some tools somewhat similar.

To me, that looks a little like a really big marshmallow roaster. I imagine a professional marshmallow roaster would see the benefit of using a large tool with a greater capacity. Oh, the stories a professional marshmallow roaster could tell!

Or it might be something else entirely!

It could be a root hook but too long

I have a logrite hookaroon and a few other brands but I like the two prong one with the pipe welded in it the best for pulling firewood to the rear of the trailer. I do have hoists on my trailers so that helps also.
