Hi Everyone,
I really appreciate the help I've received while getting ready to install my woodstove.
I have two questions:

1. We are installing a stainless liner and insulating it with homesaver pour-in insulation- the cement and vermiculite stuff that you mix with water and pour in around the liner. Can this be done in below freezing temps? I was thinking of capping the top of the liner and running a heater in the firebox to warm the chimney and insulation.

2. I have a telescoping black single-wall pipe to attach the stove to the liner. Do I need to caulk where the two telescope pipes intersect?

Thank you,
JC

I'd think the folks who make the Homesaver would be in the best position to answer question 1, if they have a website or telephone.
