I'm thinking of buying a couple pallets of the Uncle Jed's Cold Remedy pellets. I have a Breckwell P4000 stove that I just installed. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendation as to whether this would be a good pellet or not.

Do a forum search. I believe I recall seeing a recent thread
mentioning those pellets.

and you will find the threads from this forum containing

I've tried a Google search and really haven't had that much luck finding out information on this brand of pellet. Also tried doing the forum search and you are right - didn't have a ton of luck with that either.
Found these two threads via a google search. You can
always pm the people who have mentioned that they've
used these pellets. My recommendation. Don't buy until
you try - in other words, pick up a few bags and try them
in your stove. You may not have the same results as the
next guy and then you'll be pissed so TRY before you
drop the coin on tonnage! Good luck!

Great Information - thanks. A local dealer has a special going for $275 delivered. I just installed a Breckwell and have only tried a few bags from Menards and Fleet Farm. At this point I'm not really sure what kind to buy. I want something good that not going to cause me problems down the road (either burn or screwing up the stove). If you have any other suggestions I'll take them!! Thanks for the help.
where are you located exactly? who's the local dealer you mention? Earth Sense Energy Systems usually has a pretty good early buy program and it helps if your a stove customer. Not sure what Menards has here, but Fleet Farm has Marth and another I can't remember.
Out near Hortonville. The price I got was from Earth Energy Sense and I'm not a stove customer. I actually bought the stove at Fleet on sale earlier this year and just got it installed. Now I'm trying to figure everything out including what the heck is the best pellet to burn in it.
good luck. Marth are usually pretty cheap if Eses still has some in stock. haven't burned any yet but prolly will later this heating season.
I like the pellets Menards has. I have also burned Uncle Jed's, and they are a decent burn too. Last year, Menards was the lower price, so I went with them. The only problem buying bulk is you have to have a container to store the pellets in. Ideally, a gravity box. I know the plastic barrels work too, but bags are usually easier to deal with. 
never checked pricing on bulk, but they say bagging, pallets and shrink wrapping adds enough to the cost. If I lived a little closer I would be researching it.
