Just found this forum and hope someone can help. We live in central Florida and have a White Mountain Hearth "Vail" ventless lp gas fireplace (Model: VF24FP2P-1) we use for ambiance only. Our issue is that even at the lowest setting it puts off way too much heat (and water vapor) for our little home. Is there a safe way to vent the combustion gasses out the back, through our cinder block wall, to reduce the heat output?

No. Ventless (or household vented) appliances are just that.
No exterior venting can be attached to it.
If it's in a fireplace, open the damper.
If it's a free-standing unit, open a window.
