Thank you for this amazing group! Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!! We have an Upland 107 stove that came with our house. It's never had a door latch and we're looking to add one. Does anyone have an idea of what generic latch kit could work? I ordered a "Vermont Castings 5004024 Wood Stove Pawl Assembly Replacement"and the "Vermont Castings 5004237 Replacement Nickle Finish Steel Handle" thinking that they might work. But the shape and diameter is too large for the hole in the front of our stove. The hole is about 1/4 " in diameter. It's a double door and the hole is on the right side. We have the original handle which we just take in and out, so we could use that somehow with a new latch setup, or we can also buy a new handle. We'd like to keep the handle removable. Any ideas, please? THANK YOU!

Welcome to the forum!

Some of the old parts sellers like woodmans parts plus might have the latch.

You can also find out dimensions and shape with somebody with an Upland stove and fabricate one.

Here’s a guy with a 207. He hasn’t been on recently, so it might take a bit of time to get a reply.
