Hi all
Some of us prefer to tinker and experiment rather than buy.
Im looking to add a pellet fuelled water heater to my in slab hydronic floor heating.
I have a large copper tank that I'm considering using as the water vessel.
Has anyone experienced with copper as a heater tank? Obviously the advantage is no corrosion issues, are there any issues with have a pellet flame playing on a copper tank over time?
The design would be fire under tank, and the two passes of heater exhaust thru tubes in tank body. The tank is open to the atmosphere so no pressure / safety issues
Any feedback welcome.
Steve
