Is there any reason (code or otherwise) NOT to use Class A chimney indoors? The reason I ask is because I have eight 3' sections of it that I don't have any other use for that are in good condition. This would be for a wood furnace installation in the basement so I don't care what it looks like. I have enough clearance to combustibles to use double wall stove pipe if I wanted to, but figured why not use the Class A since I have it?

I’ve definitely seen it done on this site. It would certainly perform better and be safer. I can’t verify law though.
That's what I was thinking-not that I've had double wall stove pipe burn out on me yet, but I'm guess it will last longer as well.
Both class a and double wall are stainless steel inside but the outer wall of class a is usually stainless too. The insulation of the class a can only help get the pipe up to temperature faster for better draft and dryness.
You’ll still need to adapt to the flue collar at the stove.
