Going to look at a used 2008 pacific energy summit insert. What should I look for when looking at a used stove? Signs of over burn? How to look for misuse? Also any other pointers.

I'm tossing up between the summit used insert or a osburn 2400 brand new. The osburn would cost about 2400 and the used one they are asking $750. Said relatives moved to Florida and took out the insert before selling the house. Thoughts?

Cheers guys for any and all input.

Check the face next to the door opening frame, check the upper corner of the door frame opening, and as Madison advised, check the framing just inside the door framing inside the insert.
Make sure it has the baffle box with it too.
