The flap on the damper can catch or slip out of alignment and can no longer closed without a lot of effort.
Are replacement damper parts available for the Vansco Treemont TAC 520 and if so where? Or are there 3rd party parts available as an option. If parts are not available is there a safe and effective workaround solution available?
Lastly - does this damper repair or replacement need to be addressed by a professional (chimney sweeper) or can it easily addressed by home owner?
