I have a single story bungalow ranch with vaulted ceilings in every room-the highest part of the house is 11 ft- I am putting the stove where it will exit at about 8 feet in the living room. I bought the ss supervent ceiling kit. Do i need a special adapter to compensate for the ceiling?

Thanks,

Bob

nope, just the standard kit from lowes.. thanks for the info, found 3 stove shops that will sell me the right parts..

be carefull. you cant miss match parts. You will need to get all the same brand for it to lock and work together.

yes metal, lowes will have to order it..

I went to www.unclejoes.com and they have a complete kit for vaulted ceiling for $229.

MSG, If selkirk makes supervent, the double wall stainless from lowes should fit, right?..
If not, 'll take that back too..

not always. i dont deal selkirk, but the supervent system was probably all tested together, and it shoulnd interlock with anything but supervent.

so then I should just order it all from one place, to make it compatible... thanks for the help MSG- it's nice to have someone in the industry so willing to help!

The Supervent Cathedral Ceiling Kit at Lowe's (special ordered) was $120.00 last fall. I would check with Lowe's first.

Thanks, i'll try lowes- that came with everything for $120?..
