Vent Pipe Question - Picture Inside

Hi Gang,

This is a picture of my sump pump piping.

Can I use this same configuration with my stoves piping?

Can I just run the pipe straight up and then out through the wall like I did with the sump pump?

Do I need to run piping up the side of the house on the outside........sort of like a chimney?

Depends on how low the ground is below the termination

You should check your stove's manual for guidance as well as the vent pipe manufacturer's instructions.......needs to be minimum 18" off the ground but my stove manual says 36".....my local building inspector uses stove and vent manufactures directions to inspect to....if they don't list, NFPA 211 standard..... Be careful if you have a oil tank in your basement......stove needs to be minimum 5 ft away unless a 1 hour fire wall separates the two. (NFPA 31)
