Just thinking, when I installed my insulated liner I installed the block off plate on the bottom of the chimney and have the chimney capped at the top, fully caulked and sealed tight.
Is there an issue with temperatures building inside the chimney with no where to be released now that the top is fully sealed? I know the insulation does a good job of keeping the heat inside the pipe but over time its got to get warn in there..

Nope

assuming your chimney is not part of a prefabricated ZC your good, if it is the original pipe needs airflow still on the top
