Venting through a void/closed area

in my house there is a 'fake' fire place in the corner of my house. I think the people that owned it prior to me just wanted to put the TV on the wall in the corner and used the 'fire place' spot for one of those fake electric stoves. Similar to the photo.

My question is can I vent through the voided area in the back of the 'fire place. My concern is the heat build up within that area from the exhaust pipe.

I have plenty of room for all my clearances for stove and vent pipe.

I see no problems as long as clearances are respected .
Mine vent through a chase ware a class a chimney was hidden
and approved by the building inspector and the fire department.

Just make sure to use a thimble wherever the vent passes through combustibles.

I see no reason why not.

No issue, just heed the manufacturers suggested clearances to combustibles in relation to the pipe itself. Pellet vent, outside skin, rarely exceeds 450 degrees anyway.

You might put some decorative louvers at the top and bottom of the space to ventilate it.

My attic is a huge void... I want to box my flue pipe in up there as I dont want ANY heat in my attic. I can hold my hand on the exterior of flue pipe while its running, so I wouldnt worry about heat build-up.
