Hi All,

A relative has a VC stove, I believe it is the Resolute Acclaim. Currently the room it is in gets very very hot, but does not heat the rest of the first floor (it is a fairly open floor plan). Can anyone point me to a good fan that works with this model?

If it has cathedral ceilings, you can use a couple of paddle fans mounted on the ceiling. If it is really open you can have one spin one direction the other in the opposite. If not cathedral, then you need to move the air, many say moving the cold air to the stove is better as it will heat and go...

Try this before buying anything. Take a standard desk fan, box fan, anything you have from the summer. Put it in the doorway, hallway or area that is cold and point it so that it is blowing towards the stove. Run it on low while the stove is burning. If that works you can decide how to make a more permanent arrangement.
