I was wondering if anyone has had the issue of the longer fuse blowing on the board on this stove? It was running fine and all of a sudden the stove shut down. Checked inside and found that the 7.5 fuse was blown. Made sure nothing was locked up ( motors and auger). Put in another fuse and without anything coming on it blew again. Checked the limit switch on the back of the fire box and it wasn't tripped, but I did bypass it and put in another fuse and it sounded like normal operation but the stove didn't light. I haven't even run 1/2 bag of pellets through the brand new stove yet. Thanks

I have a 5770 which uses the same board and have been running it for a little over 4 years. Have never had to replace a fuse on the board.

call support. If you mess with it, they might not warranty it

We have some on here knowledgeable on the VG. I only said call them because you shouldn’t have to shell out $$$ on a new stove

Every thing I've saw, is that their customer service takes forever. Thought someone might have had some insight. Thanks
Being Friday you might wait until Monday for service.

I can tell you from my experience with them years ago that I was more than happy with them.

While I have read the bad reviews keep in mind that people are not always very nice to customer support people and that doesn't help. I remember one poster once saying how he told those damn hillbillies off good. Well I''m sure that "damn hillbillies" attitude towards that freezing Yankee improved after that.

Things can get heated when there is no heat. It's not like your blender quit working, a lot of people depend on their stove as their only source of heat, not that they should but that is just a fact.
