hi,just finishig up my wall shield for a v.c. coner installation.question...i used a pre mixed mastic with 6 inch ceramic.i dont know but will heat effect the mastic?.i am thinking of redoing with thin set...? thanks will

Are you making a wall shield to reduce clearances? That doesn't sound like it would do much of anything.

The mastic will be fine that's was people use to stick tile to our gas fireplaces which get pretty hot.

Are you using 6" thick ceramic or a 6" square ceramic tiles?
