Wd-40 ok to use?

Trying to get the lock/roll/spring (whatever it's called) pin out of the door of my drolet, so that I can adjust the handle, but it won't come out! Been hammering, nothing.

Any other ideas? Supposed to be getting a polar vortex, this isn't fun.

Try vice grips to compress the slot on the roll pin and wiggle it out.

Already tried that, nothing working.

Solved: Wd-40 is like magic, it came right out! Turned the handle, had the whole door move up, turned it again, and somehow got it. Replaced the pin, did the dollar test, and she's tight!
