tons and tons of wet pellets here. Not sure if or how long they were stored outside, but i grabbed some bags from one pallet, all wet. Last Friday there bags in a pile next to an open pallet...all of those bags were wet. I made them open a new pallet and I checked them before I grabbed a few bags. I kept the receipt. I won't buy a ton here anytime soon. I bet what they have is tons of pellets from last winter which sat out all summer. No good. They have probably 15 tons out...look sketchy to me.

That's a pain. I never liked how they stored pellets outside so I'm always on the look out. I'd probably be more concerned if I was having multiple tons delivered, but buying by the bag gives me the ability to check each one. But, for me, in my short time burning, I haven't seen that many water damaged bags, and never a full pallet. I do like that Stove Chow and other Energex brands seem to wrap their pallets pretty well using two individual layers. That's probably the reason for not finding many damaged bags. I noticed the low-end brand Lowe's is carrying this year (North American, I think, maybe) don't appear to wrapped nearly as well - just a single layer of pallet wrap by the looks. No thanks.

Why not just ask the manager to let you know when they get a fresh shipment in? I did that last week for 2 tons my kids needed.
