What’s this wood?

Silver maple. Look at the leaves
 
I was gonna say Norway Maple, but could be silver too.

The bark similar to ash was what made me think Norway.
 
I think the maple leaves were from another tree, not the one in question.
Maples around here are either sugar maple or, more commonly, what I call soft maple or swamp maple. I’m not sure the exact species but it dries fairly quick and burns with medium heat but makes a lot of ash. It likes to rot if you keep it stacked too long.
