Been burning greenway oaks. Ran out of those now burning green supreme junk from lowes. In 1 hour my house has dropped 8 degrees.

Yep. Every lowes in 25 miles around me had those. Looks like they just got a delivery according to the website. Hopefully it's something different.

My local lowes had those early, Green way supreme oak, back in the fall, can't find them of late, burned hot and clean based on what I know so far of burning pellets. Picking up a ton of Turmans in the
AM, hopefully it will be may last bulk buy for the season.

Find 25-30 bucks and head over to a TSC. Buy the Equine Pine Bedding pellets and mix them 50/50 with the GS. Trust me it will boost the BTU for you.

Any drawbacks to burning the Equine pellets in the stove? Ash or otherwise? Just curious

Nope, they burn just fine and are 100% pine softies. Made in the same type of machine our burning pellets are.

Well. Tractor supply now has North Americans so no more good stuff around me. I did pick up a bag of tsc bedding pellets, which the bag looks almost like the North Americans. I will probably try mixing them in my EF2, not sure my pdvc will be able to handle the mixture.

Just be cautious on the bedding pellets, they do not require the same level of compression when forming pellets so may not burn the same as stove pellets. They may be different manufacturer to manufacturer...

My little 25PDVC has gobbled up anything that I've thrown in it. You may be surprised.

My son just did a test run of bedding pellets in his stove and they burned hot and well. He visited his stove store wher he recently purchased his stove the other day and noticed what looked like a bag of bedding pellets next to one of the stoves that was running. He asked the owner if the bag was horse bedding pellets and he responded...Shhuuush.
