Can anyone tell me what brand of zone valves I should purchase? I have 3 zones, one a high temp coil, a DHW sidearm and a infloor zone. I think I will purchase a Grunfos Alpha 15/55 to supply the zones.

I'm no expert, but I've been using Honeywell zone valves for 20 years with minimal problems. I do like the look of the Taco EBV (Electronic Ball Valve) since it has virtually zero power draw when open. It also has a bit larger of an orifice so might be a better choice in a system with fewer / larger zones.

Maybe someone who actually knows what they're talking about will chime in...

We use Honeywell unless the customer requests something different... pretty reliable. Alpha pumps are very slick.

cheers

I've used them all on my house and have had no problems.
