Came across a floor model T5 Alderlea for sale- what would be a good price for it, its never been burned.

Woodstove prices skyrocketed this last heating season. The T5 stove in black paint sold for around $2700 in black paint a year ago and was over $3000 during last winter. If enameled, add $500.

How old is it? Are there any add ins on it? The place I bought mine from had a fancier door on their model, but didn’t sell them on the stove, lol. I think 2500-2700 is more than fair!

no enamel

Ok, that’s an insert. I’d think that’d be worth more? Make sure that’ll fit before you buy it!

I just bought one up here in NH new a few weeks ago, black paint. 4000 including mil discount. Ridiculous money, things are expensive up here. They were selling some floor models for 500 less but the T5 floor model they had was white enamel and was being used as their main heater this past winter.

Also, I priced out the same stove at another shop and was quoted 4800 for a T5 in black paint. This is march 2023. I wonder what the prices will be in October.

An insert changes the equation. Look at the UL tag and see if it is a T5 LE made after 2019 or just a T5 made prior to 2019.
If it is a new LE model, a good price would have been $3,100 a year ago. Now, figure closer to $4,000 in today's market. What are they asking for it?
