By weight or dollar value? By weight I would guess wheat. Flour is heavy and bread is a staple ;lol. Although if oil is a hint, maybe I should try coal.

Most traded.... well it would have to be water. We buy and consume hundreds of gallons per day, much more than oil.

Perhaps you speak in terms of dollars, what we spend the most buying, then maybe sugar?
