Hello,

I am new to this forum and in search of some information. I have searched (I think) all of the posts regarding the different types of Fisher stoves. I can't find anything that describes or looks (photos) like the one I have. This will be the only heat source for our home. As such we would like to move it so the black pipe vents straight up through the roof. It was installed quite a few years ago by the previous owner and they don't have it vented straight up. I just want to make certain it is installed correctly, therefore, I need to know which bear I have. I have included some pictures to help identify its type. I would appreciate any information available.

Thank-you!

Grandma Bear Fireplace Series.
There's a sticky thread on the Fireplace series and a manual in the Manual thread here.

Thank-you for the links but it doesn't help if I don't know what kind of Fisher stove I have? There are so many and I can't find one that has the patent pending on the lower middle front as represented in the pictures I included with my post. Any other suggestions or help would really be appreciated.

Thank-you

The model you have is called a Grandma, Type 1, one of the Fireplace series of stoves.
