Ok what I thought was a simple thing to find is so far not.
What I am looking for is a thermometer to watch the stove temp on a Quadrafire 7100.
Asked the installer and dealer and both said that i didn't need one.
I'd really like to have one so I don't overfire it at all.
Problem is I need one to be long enough to get behing the fascia.

Any help would be appreciated!

I have a magnetic one above the doors, its not that accurate due to the faceplate. When the faceplate was off it worked better. I suggest getting a laser thermometer to get an accurate read.
