So I've been doing some research on this forum and it seems that the englander stoves get good reviews. However, I've found a few stoves on craigslist that I'm not exactly sure how they compare. We will be installing this in a ~500 sq ft yurt.

Would you recommend any of the following over a new englander 13?
avalon rainer 990 - (broken link removed to http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/for/5324284022.html)
quad-fire 3100 - (broken link removed to http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/for/5324284022.html)
regency f1100s - (broken link removed to http://eugene.craigslist.org/for/5311913764.html)
unknown regency model (seller says it is a newer stove) - (broken link removed to http://bend.craigslist.org/for/5283282013.html)
avalon 901 - (broken link removed to http://eugene.craigslist.org/app/5315580351.html)

I'm concerned that the older stoves won't be as efficient. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks

I don't know enough about it, but the NC13 seems a little small for a yurt even at 500 sqft. Unless you don't mind reloading it every few hours.

I heat a 24x24 poorly insulated garage in a cold climate with a nc13 . I run it harder on cold days and yes It'll throw the heat and the fan really helps move that air around I can maintaine about 70 on a 20 degree day In it no problem

Quad 3100 would have been a good choice, but the stove is sold as are the others. Maybe consider the 2.5 cu ft. Englander Madison for an easier install and longer burn time?

Ahh, I hadn't seen that englander before. I found another quad 3100 a bit closer for $500 so I'm gonna try and get that one if it's still available. If not, I think I'll order the Englander Madison stove.

Thanks for the help.
