I am starting on my fourth winter with a Whitfield Profile 30 and the ignitor failed yesterday, now lighting with hand sanitizer. I ordered one online yesterday and should have it in a few days. Does anyone have any experience or suggestions on replacing these on a Whitfield Profile30?

Hi ab think you've figured it out that chaning it will be a pain it will. Did you check the in-line fuse?? Think the Profile has one the adv 2t did... it screws out too and of course time and heat will make it harder. Take the blower(s) out of your way when changing it, good luck.

Stovelark
Enviro EF3 FS pellet
Enviro Empress FPI AC
Enviro Kodiak 1700 FS wood

This would probably do the job

Many thanks, You have confirmed my suspicion that it would probably be a pain. I haven't checked the fuse yet, but I will. Thanks for the suggestions.

No it will not. It does not have a MPNT 5/8 fitting and most likely does not have a 1" cold zone at the pass through connection....it will either burnout premature or fall out and melt wires and such...don't suggest something you haven't tried

I put a super igniter in my Whitfield profile 30, worked better than the original. Easy to replace if you have a Crows foot hooked up with a 3/8" swivel

Wow... That sounds snarky! Sorry... I got cut off and then could t remember what thread I was in then had to go.

What I was going to suggest is perhaps you could link to the mpnt which is needed
