Question:

Hi... I'M a recently widowed mother and I've recently been able to repair a old unused chimney. Now I am able to put in a woodstove so the kids and I can stay warm as I am unable to pay the high oil and electric prices. And now I'm finding at this time of year good stove prices are very high...can you direct me maybe to a good wholesaler?

Answer:

Suzanne, the distributors and wholesalers in this business sell only to retail stores, and only in quantity. You can usually pick up a good used stove for less than 1/2 of the price of a new one, although you may not get the newest technology.<p>
There are also some internet retailers who have clearance stock available at discounts. You can often save 30% in this fashion.
