Hi Guys, got a bunch of this wood in with my normal delivery, any ideas?

I was guessing something along that line, mostly because even though this was cut (supposedly) 3 yrs ago, (but not split until recently) - these pieces are VERY heavy and do not burn well.
 
Absolutely Red Oak...wet red oak that is!

Stick'em aside 'till next year, you'll be happy you did!
 
Looks like it may have also been dead-for-a-while oak from the punkiness look of the outer white layer.
Unseasoned oak can seem like picking up a granite boulder.
