Hello,

Recently started looking for wood burning inserts and could use some input from the community.
Looking for a wood-burning insert with the following criteria:

1) Large firebox. At least 3cu.ft.
2) Large viewing glass.
3) Quiet. Tv is on the same side of the room and blower noise has been an issue with my previous fireplace (regency i3100)
4) Current fireplace opening is 42"-front, 36"-back. Don't have the full dimensions at the time but I think it is big enough to fit most "large" inserts.

So far I found the Vermont castings Merrimack

Anything else along those lines?

Went with the FPX specifically for that reason, remotely located blower that you can't hear at all, all you hear is air moving, and no crazy cords laying in front.

Travis large flushwood hybridfyre may work for u...
