Why is the oil cutting in when we have the wood burning in our caddy combination furnace

I don’t understand if the temperature drop the drafter opens to cause the fire to go

What is the oil furnace thermostat set at, compared to the Caddy t-stat?

How do you start the oil burner then?
Sounds like there may be an issue with some electronics here?

According to the Caddy combination wood and oil manual, there should be separate thermostats for the wood and oil sources, both wired to an interconnect. It's in section 3.4.5.4 of the manual linked below.

Can you find the interconnect and confirm that only one thermostat is wired to it?
