Woodstock Layoffs?

That’s such a shame. Anymore you see more mills closing down. I can only imagine if someone had a capable foundry in the US could probably make a killing. Is there even any foundries left here anymore?
 
I think back in the day Woodstock sourced all their stove parts from North America. Not sure why that changed.

There's 2 here locally...and I know at least the larger of the 2 is thriving, or at least was recently. The smaller one is very small, and I think they are historically as busy as they want to be. Get to thinking about it, there is a couple the next county over too.

Was the Vermont Castings foundry the supplier in the past? If so, it could be that the contract terms with the new owner were not as favorable.
