ZC to Alcove

Would it be possible to develop a post where all ZC fireplace to alcove conversions could be posted?

Not stove brand specific, but a directory of sorts to help folks with plans of this type.

Just a thought.

I really like this idea. The topic comes up pretty often around here and many are confused or overwhelmed by the thought of tackling such a project.

Seems pretty easy compared to demo of a masonry fireplace. That was a pretty major project, but well worth it.

I have done a few and changed out a few zc units for new ones and just about every one is different really you just need to open things up to see what is there. For the most part it is pretty simple carpentry stuff ones you open it up and see what is there
