Hello
Well, I had a Breckwell and Magnum Baby CountrySide auger jams using Home Depot Fire Side Ultra wood pellets today! !
This years FireSide Ultra's are loaded with fines!
Pics below show the Breckwell Golden Eagle 5520. Only a year old and jammed up!
I am a little dissappointed with the engineering and quality of the newest Breckwells. Should the auger cover be round? Then pellets would not get stuck so easily?
I did the "Dry Moly Spray" on the auger cover before putting it back.
Also why the rope gasket at the top of the auger cover? If the parts fit together better then it would not be needed?
I fixed a blinking #2 light by cleaning the blowers. I also fixed some of the blinking #3 light by fixing the auger jam, but still get the blinking #3 because there is no way to tighten up the ash pan door!
Both knobs on the ash pan broke! Wow are they cheap! Any suggestions for a better modified knob or hardware?
