We might have that for a high tomorrow if we get lucky. Not me. Just have 10 inches of ice that was 12 inches of snow a week ago and a balmy 26 degrees.
When to when? HDD that isWarm up here tonight with 15 for a low but in a few days the forecast is for a week long string of -10 to -15F lows. I look up heating degree days for here at times on the weatherunderground and we are at 6680 for the heating season so far.

10/01/2013 to 2/16/2014. October was unusually cold up here so I started my Wunderground search there. When to when? HDD that is
thanks I was about to ask. On another thread someone used www.degreeday.netI use wunderground.com/almanac/view more historic data/custom
Did you go to wunderground.com and do a search for a local homeowner run station? What town are you in? I looked up Jackmanistan ME but your name sake town doesn't come up, lol.Final temp -22f, NWS called for -5 they were only off by 17. It is hard to find a nearby weather station to gauge where I live though.
I found it now. There are 4 airports and 4 other weather stations to choose from in the area. The latitude of Jackman is nearly the same as Winter, WI where I live, just a .4 difference. But we get more arctic air up here and the Atlantic may help temper your temps some. After tomorrow's winter storm goes through we are in for a week of sub zero temps with a few nights colder than -15F forecasted.Try Jackman, ME . . . Jackmanistan is just knickname . . . like Skowvegas for Skowhegan.
I live next to a stream by the river. Once the stream freezes it turns into the cold air highway. We are 5-13 degs colder than the local $bank that is less than 1/4 mile away at the river.I found it now. There are 4 airports and 4 other weather stations to choose from in the area.
