Painting my house. Does anyone know a good tool/way to make clean lines between 2 paint colors?

Masking tape. Some are better at preventing bleed under than others. I don't know which are the best. We just used the standard cheap blue tape.

i have 2 25' long sides and 6 windows to paint. that's gonna be a lot of taping. All exterior.

Color change in the middle of a wall? Or are you talking about between siding and trim (corner boards and window trim)?
I'm confused. Never seen a need to tape the exterior unless you're masking off to spray it.

yes, transition from trim to siding. should I just get a slim brush and be careful?

Yep. There's two ways to cut too. Some guys take the time to cut each clap into the corner board, most others paint the narrow edge that the claps bump into the same color as the siding and just hit the face with the trim color.
My painters can cut in reasonably well with a 4" brush, I can't. I like a 2" cutting brush for smooth surfaces. Good balance of ability to hold enough paint and not too big to make a giant mess. A wet rag near by will allow you to wipe up any mess ups too.
I like to paint the body then go back and hit the trim, but to each their own.

Use one of these. Clean it often.
