hey whats anyones thoughts on Propellets that are made in Michigan. i found them to be pretty dust free but haven't burnt them yet

Last Year they were very good. Nice Heat. I got them again this year. Have not burned any yet.
That said, other years they varied in heat output and ash.
I bought a ton of them last year from my stove dealer when I purchased my stove or shortly after. They were good pellets and similar to the Somersets. However, I did notice each bag throughout the ton had some consistently longer pellets than the Sets. The Pro's burned well and hot with very few fines and dust.
The only issue with the Pro's having longer pellets and some were every bit of one and a half inches long was that they would frequently get caught and chomped into half by the auger slide plate making a loud thumping, popping type sound. The Sets have never done this as they are more consistently in shorter lengths.
The Pro's are good pellets (at least the ton I ran thru) and I would burn them again without a thought about it. It all depends on price. The Sets here have been the best bang for the buck two years running now.

I've burned them for the last 2 years and they were fine. I have them again this year and so far they have burned well. My neighbor and I burned 8 1/2 tons last year in a Harman and a Hudson River with no problems.

I found them to be one of if not the best pellet I've tried. Hardly any fines, minimal ash and excellent heat! TSC got a partial load of them here on the Eastern Shore of MD during last years 'shortage'. I only bought 5 bags to try-went back 2 days later and of course they were all gone
I called the company for retailers and sadly learned they don't transport to MD. If I can put my paws on ProPellets again I'll buy in large quantity! Would be interested to read your opinion after you burn some!

TSC in Ontario, NY has them. Picked up 6 bags today. 5.49 a bag or $259 a ton. Counted 12 tons in the outside cage. Burned some of these last year and they were great.
well i glad i have two more ton on hold i did dump a bag in my stove they sure dont have the dust in them ill let ya know how they burn for me thanksI found them to be one of if not the best pellet I've tried.
