40 out this AM. I refuse to burn oil for heat so enjoyed the pellet heat with my coffee!
Again, so sorry OPEC!!

Already shut my stove down for the season but have been tempted to fire it up again its been chilly the last couple nights.

Yeah, chilly and rainy here last couple of nights. I have two or three bags left and that's that. I have four tons shrink-wrapped in the garage and waiting in the garage for the fall. Sunshine and seventy degree weather in a few days, I hope.

New England is a great place to live but that time between slush and sunshine is least great.

Same here. I've been looking at it longingly the past couple mornings, but I'm too lazy to have to reclean it, too cheap to turn on the oil heat, so I guess I'll just wait for the warmer weather.

Still enjoying a relaxing pellet stove fire on cool evenings and to take the chill off some mornings.

Yep- jinxed myself.

Finally got around to cleaning/closing up the stove for the season this weekend
after it has been sitting idle for weeks now.
Of course, two days later temps drop from 70s to 40s so we ended up firing
it back up for a few hours to get the chill out of the house.

Not closing it up again until mid June now ;-)

Been burning the last couple days here in vermont...luckily i have about 1/2 ton left, i think with this weather i may burn them all.

Nope not me. Did the cleaning awhile back and
not firing her back up until Fall.

It's a comfy 70F in here with no heat on.

Cold spring here in Wisconsin so far... been using the NG way too much...

I use mine throughout the year even just to enjoy a mid 40's night fire with someone special and a bear skin rug and holding them big...... woow okay then..... ugettheopicture ...

Using the oil. My stove is in the basement and it takes a few hours of burning to get upstairs going. It doesn't take much to bring it up to temp so I'm splitting my heating in the spring and fall.

Waiting for the sun to come back and put everyone back in a better mood.

Has been a strange week...
Have used my air condtioner and pellet stove in the same week.
The pellet stoves thermostat kicked it on during the night last night.

hope I am done this year. going to clean her up this weekend and put it to rest for the summer.

I am. Cool and rainy spring on Cape Cod, so I have been firing up. Why not????

I turned my stove off about one month ago but with this cool spell, the house temp was down to 63. I had one bag left so fired the stove up. House is now 72 and nice and warm. Can't believe I am using the stove now, its almost June. And I had high hopes for the global warming thing.

Yep! had a few more bags left, and burned the last one last night into this morning just to take the chill out.Amazing how a little flame is enough to keep the house toasty.

Harman XXV And loving it!!!!!!

I can't believe it but I'm still burning. I am redoing my wide pine floors and need the house warm to get the polyurethane to cure. I still can't believe I need heat at this time of year...Come on global warming!

tonight, after midnight, it will be june. and 34 degrees! with a frost advisory! guess i have to plug the stove back in. and cover the garden up.

had it going a few nights ago, the house got down to 54.

this weather sucks. i'll be doing my spring shutdown and cleaning in july.

Yup it's been 90 here and now in the crapper again. Been making hot water too with the boiler so guess it's good in that I'm still not using the electric hot water tank. I thought I was going to have 6 tons for this coming winter, but at this rate maybe not.

Yep, still burning. Thank God for my procrastination. 1ST time it's ever paid off Muss

Normally the heat from my dehumidifier would keep my family room dry and warm, but in this weather, the unit hasn't run much. Don't like my rooms cool, so have been running the stove during the evening. After all, we all know that pellet stoves are "space heaters"!!!!!!

Ran mine last night.

I ran mine for the last time a couple days ago. This last bag of pellets had lasted me several weeks so when this one ran out I told myself I'm done heating for the season. It wasn't long before I was running seasoned oak branches through the chop saw so I had just a little more fuel... Anything to keep from opening another bag! :cheese:
