Enjoy the heat!

Yes - there is a surge protector attached..thanks for asking! I'm thinking about using some panduit to hide the cord along the wall.
The stove is set on three in this photo - with the trim settings default. The dealer threw in 2 tons of O'Malley's...so thats what we are burning.

I have the M55 insert. After talking to several people, it seems my problem is common on Enviro units. Is your glass getting a smoke pattern on the right side of the glass?
Shorebilly said:Yes - We have the smoke patterna as well...ours is a littel more black than yours. I wonder what that means? The smoke pattern is really not a big deal for us. The stove provides great heat and looks good.

Increase the air trim one or drop the feed trim(not feed rate) one. If its still dark do one of them again. Should clean up.

Thanks for the heads up. I adjusted the air trim. Interestingly enough...that makes sense considering my install. The dealer did not have a thimble with a 4" exhaust and 3" intake in stock. He had to order the part and was told it would be roughly couple of weeks. He gave me a thimble with a 2" intake to use while waiting for the 3" intake thimble. I created an adapter for temp use.
I picked up the new thimble yesterday and plan on installing it later this week - forecast is 50!
So long story short...it would make sense the stove is not getting the air it needs.
thanks again!

My pleasure. Keep us posted if it clears up. Light brown/tan is good. Enjoy the stove!

I notice a hole above the door and that could be the reason it gets smoke there. It looks like a screw is missing. Anyone else notice it?
The change is incredible...or I have contracted pellet fever.
Yesterday I installed a new thimble with the larger intake - 3". The flame seems happier, more energetic and the soot color has changed to a greyish color. These stoves must require a lot of combustion air.
thanks!
