I know I need to get a thermometer for my insert. I came across the Condar (inferno) stove top model. I am kind of at a loss as to where to place it, top or front. There isn't a great deal space on the front. Where exactly should I place it on the top for best readings? I know there are others running this insert, can anyone advise on location. If this is not the thermometer to use please recommend another unit. The stove seems to be running well, heats the house fine, I just want to be running it more efficiently if I can.

Thanks.

place it on the face of the insert in the space at the upper corner of the door on the right or left side.
