World's slowest connection here, so am trying to download, but w/out much optimism. However, had to chime in to say a couple of things:

1) the subject of this thread sounds a little rock-and-roll, just can't figure out the rest of the lyrics:

"Hey, soapstone lover, don't hog the covers . . . " nah

"Soapstone lover, you're a heavy green . . . . " nah

"I'll never recover from my soapstone lover, my heart will hover . . . " right. no.

"Soapstone lovers running for cover, trying not to shove 'er . . . .mmmm . . . . ha . . . la la la yeah baby . . . " okay, that's getting closer.

2) I also wanted to say welcome, but I've more or less blown my credibility with the above nonsense. So, this is just me smiling. :cheese: Hi.

Okay, so it's loading, and I see it now. That's that little build-a-stove-w/no-pipe vid--seen it before. Very cool. See you round the forums.

There are other videos and threads on these somewhere.. Cool stuff though.

Wow, I wonder what the price is on one of those, I love the three windows. Talk about some thermal mass.

And wonder how much it weighs? Seems to me Woodstock put something like that together recently.

Snowleopard- Thanks for the :cheese:, always nice to see a smile. Keep up the good work and I will continue to keep learning. I had to chuckle at your reference to songs. I was thinking the same thing after I posted the topic. Song Turbo lover by Judas Priest came to mind for me.

I'm your soapstone lover
Tell me there's no other
I'm your soapstone lover
Better run for cover

Seems like a jigsaw stove...sure would be easier to move around that way huh.

I wonder how long it will be untill we start to see more stoves like these. The contemporary style stoves like the Jotul f370 are starting to show up. I like the large glass viewing area, but not the short burn times.

Nice, I love the look of these stoves. The video stove looks a bit like a kit version of a Tulikivi.
