Southeast Michigan
I'm about to drive to a shop that's got a used Earth Stove insert and take a look at it, probably picking it up.

I'll need some help with the install, and am looking for someone who's done this sort of thing before, and would be able to help/install this sucker. I can do manual labor, and pick up over 400# so hopefully I can be helpful, but if it involves me going on the roof, that's one thing I'm "out" on :)

Specifically, Southeast Michigan, about a half hour outside Detroit. Romeo area.

Also, I'd *love* to use an outside air kit for this (could probably just draw air down the chimney I presume? The house is sealed fairly tight, so I'd like to keep it that way.

I decided to do my install myself but I had Ken from Hall construction come out and quote. I liked his attitude and attention to detail/knowledge. His price was reasonable too. Not sure if he will go all the way to Romeo but here is his info.

Name: Hall Construction Inc
Street: 6887 Pinckney Road
Pinckney, mi 48169-8551
Phone: (734) 878-2130

I can give him a call, Pinckney's a good ways away as you know, but he may be in the area sometime. There's a place around here (Emmett's Energy), but they won't install what they don't sell I guess. I suppose I could do most of it myself with a buddy who does construction... But I'd prefer someone who knows what the heck they're doing with these things.
