Active since 1995, Hearth.com is THE place on the internet for free information and advice about wood stoves, pellet stoves and other energy saving equipment.
We strive to provide opinions, articles, discussions and history related to Hearth Products and in a more general sense, energy issues.
We promote the EFFICIENT, RESPONSIBLE, CLEAN and SAFE use of all fuels, whether renewable or fossil.
I have one. Expect 5 hours burn fully loaded with coals up to 7 hours later to restart with. I tend to put a chunk in every 1 - 2 hours during burning depending on the size of pieces i'm burning. I'm happy with it for my application. A Mansfield would be good for overnight burns, but I usually have some coals and use the little ash drawer to restart using bark or kindling on just a few coals.
