The Dixette did most of the unloading..

Sweet! Good for you getting the wood. That would make anyone happy and having a pretty lady throwing wood off the truck would be tops too!

Pays to have horsie friends. This was from a local horse farm that had 20+ trees come down during Sandy. It's 5 miles from the house.

What was nice was that everyone helped load everybody's trucks, made the work go a lot faster.

We haven't even begun.BUT, like I told the Dixette, next year, they will have seasoned wood to throw in the 30 when they install it. In the mean time, they'll be using the 13 to supplement their heat.

I'm gonna need more pallets :p

    Great score Dixie.
"We haven't even begun". Does this mean you're going back for more, or referring to the work you've already made for yourselves?

2 loads in the F250. If you are looking at the front of the shed, the longer stuff to the right (oak & maple) is stuff I picked up on my home from work during the week.

The Dixette is running the saw. I don't do saw any more.

There's more where this came from. I just want to get this processed & stacked before we bring more in, and piss off one of the neighbors more than he is by this score ;)

    yep...
that's a fine load of wood there. how much do you typically burn in a year? how many more truckloads are you planning on hauling? be nice to get ahead while its available. locust seasons pretty quickly and all my pine seasoned in 6 months.(i diligently covered it when it rained ..which wasn't often this summer) as stated above, if we were closer we'd surely swing by and give you a hand.
