    I did the same last year.
    I have tried to give him some lessons and teach some easy songs, not much interest yet.
    As soon as he figures out that girls like guitars, he will come around.

    WOW, that's so cool. My little one got her first Uke too! It's pink. She's been asking for a pink Ukelele all year. Santa looked a little worried when she told him that was all she wanted. It proved quite a challenge after all, but he found one, WHEW. SHe's a little older than your little girl there. I am thinking about getting her maybe one or two lessons.
