It also is believed that catalytic stoves do proportionately better with hardwoods than softwoods; hardwoods generally burn slower than softwoods as they are usually wetter, denser and have less resin

Uh-oh, Dennis... looks like you need to water your wood. :lol:
 
:lol: Woodstock and I definitely disagree on how dry the wood should be. So, naturally, I do a bit of kidding with them from time to time.
