Very peacefull pond/lil lake. We have fished it often(Not so much now that we have a bigger boat). No jetski's or ski boats blasting around is a plus.

Oh you can't complain about Goshen!......you have the best smokehouse around. If I lived there I would be at Nodines every week for fresh Beef Jerky!!!!

Cromwell here.....where the big golf tournament is held every summer. Other than that we have nothing going for us but high taxes, condos, big box stores and Dunkin Donuts....like 4 of them last I knew.

Wow, OK you are even smaller than us. ;)

Fun to see how many of us are actually in this NW corner....I'd never even heard of the area till DH got a hit on a job out here a few years ago. Gotta admit I love how quiet it is. Though I do miss decent Thai take out and an easy commute to a fun city (we moved from Boston...)

Please write this up for the Governor of MA. He actually thinks Casinos are going to create sustained jobs with livable wages...uh...not likely. :(

Casinos are great for the economy for a while, while the building is going on. What happens when the economy turns down? The big problem that I see is that the pemanent jobs that they create are jobs that pay $9.00 $10.00 per hour. The other problem is the gambling itself. I've lost track of the story's about people losing everything. Don't think it can't happen!! All the education in the world won't help once they pull that lever. It's worse than cocane. Don't think I'm a prude, I've been a biker and know how to have a good time. Gambling works in Vegas as it it like an island in the desert. That's where it belongs and that's where it should stay!!!!
