Not to sound too judgemental, but those don't exactly look like high-dollar structures. He's between what looks like a steel-sided garage and a shed. Assuming both were emptied of valuable equipment and tool chests prior to felling, I'd have probably chanced that one, myself.

Next to a house or historic structure... different story.
