Where is the best (and cheapest of course) to get a prefab through the roof system. Any brands reccomended from experiance?
thanx

Near the peak, less exposed outside that way and you don't have to build a chase around it.

Are you looking at doing an open fireplace or a prefab EPA built in unit?

Do what? I mean a prefab unit for a wood stove. The thimble for the ceiling, insulated, spark screen, cap, and all that ready to go.

I have a Class"A" consisting of Selkirk Double wall and Selkirk Metalbestos UT (Ultra temp) setup.
Been using this setup for about 6 years now.
I don't know if they are the cheapest, but they have been around for 75 years and make a fine product.
They have serveral lines ...UltraTemp Platinum/Ultra Temp/Sure Temp/SuperVent
