I am looking to replace my condor with a digital probe thermometer as I have had some suspicion that it is off on the high end of the temps. Anybody have a good recommendation?

They are expensive. But if you look up Tel-Tru. You will find some good one's.

The highest bi-metallic magnetic thermo I found was 750°… But it reacts super fast and is very accurate. Also has a needle thats holds your "Max or Min" temp (or both, specify at checkout).

They make Probes for BBQ grills. So they have to go pretty high.

I found there info on a search on here. Definitely faster and more accurate than my Inferno stove top. But I have Condar Probes myself (2). One on the vertical (18" up) and another in the horizontal section before the thimble.
